Landmark Foods Nigeria, Ltd.
Landmark Foods Ltd, was incorporated in 1981 with the objectives of providing catering, housekeeping and facilities management services with a special focus on the oil and gas industry.
In 1985, the company won its first contract with Shell Petroleum Development Company on Forcados Terminal and in 1991, the company expanded its operations and ventured into hotel business. Thus, it built its own in-house run and maintained 40-room hotel called "Taland Place" in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
To ensure and to maintain well-coordinated logistics, the company invested in relevant support outfits. Thus, it owns warehouse and offices in Lagos, Warri and Port Harcourt.
Furthermore, to ensure continuous quality service delivery, the company identified the importance of continous staff training to the achievement of this goal. In view of this, a sister-company, Landmark Institute of Catering and Hotel Management" was set-up in Port Harcourt in 1988. This is a full fledge, government approved institute offering courses up to Diploma Level.
